Key University Documents

Much of the self-study process involves the examination of key University documents, which are used to guide the study groups. Some of the major key documents that will guide the groups are:

  • 1994 Self-Study- The final report resulting from the previous University self-study.
  • 1999 Periodic Review Report - The interim report, submitted to Middle States between decennial self-studies.
  • Bayley Project- An extensive examination of Seton Hall's mission and how it relates to actual practice in the University community.
  • Mission Statement- A key element of the study is the examination of how the University's mission is applied.
  • Catholicity Statements provide detail and broad context for the University's mission and goals.
  • Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogues - Provide extensive information on educational and related programs and policies.
  • Seton Hall Fact Book 2001-02 - A key tool especially useful as a planning reference.
  • Sesquicentennial Strategic Plan - The process by which Seton Hall will approach institutional growth and improvement over the next several years.
