Servant Leadership- Seton Hall University Self-Study: 2002-04

Study Groups

Each study group will author one chapter of the self-study report, according to the specific hypotheses provided. Chapters will begin with a brief overview of the current state of the assigned area, followed by sections addressing the specific issues raised. The issues are presented as hypotheses that should be used to frame and organize the discussion. The data and analysis will "support", "not support" or "partially support" the hypothesis. The response to each hypothesis should be supported by quantitative data compiled for the self-study or by data or reference to previous University studies in that area and by thorough discussion. Each chapter will end with concluding remarks, drawn from the discussion and will list specific recommendations for improvement. Study groups will examine specific aspects of the University, as follows:

  1. Mission, Goals and Objectives
  2. Planning, Resource Allocation and Institutional Renewal
  3. Institutional Resources
  4. Leadership and Governance
  5. Administration
  6. Integrity
  7. Institutional Assessment
